HOUSTON CON RAVE #2: Right now at Houston Hilton North, at the good grace of George Comits of Houston.... in the midst of Jack Sparrows, Chubaccas, Starfleet cheerleaders, Air China flight attendants, a wedding party that has no idea what is happening around them, and almost the entire team from AXANAR. Had a great dinner out last night with the magnificent Kate Vernon, the irrascible Gary Graham, the Scots-Irish graphic and food stylings of Terry McIntosh, the brilliant Christian Gossett attired in his trade-mark threadbare faded black tee, and the most excellent in the biz of filmmaking..the Greco-American Alec Peters accompanied by Aphrodite herself or was it the most beauteous Diane, Goddess of the Hunt....a dinner with friends where the laughter and libation ran free and great plans were drawn for the final assault on fortress Hollywood. El Ramirez...aka Tony Todd had not yet arrived but will join the intial stages of the assault this day... Saturns day, August 9, in the year of our Laird , 2 thousand and 14. Obviously, I am in a particularly golden time with nothing but joy and passion in site...an oasis of contentment in a desert of worldy struggles. Would that the peoples of Gaza and Israel, the people of Mount Ararat and Girbil, the good people of Syria and and Lybia, Cameroon and Liberia, Sierra Leonne, Nigeria and Mali...would that these peoples with so much pain and suffering in their immediate view could know and feel and live such a golden world...would that we lucky few could cast a spell of peace and life on the great globe itself. Ahhhhh. If we can dream it....maybe it shall be. jgh
