HOW AWESOME IS THIS???? Let me tell you why I love this promotion so much!! A little over a year ago I discovered a good size breast lump. My dr got me in the very next day. I know she was expecting to feel nothing serious and the minute she felt the lump her face changed completely. I could see the seriousness in her face. My research had already told me why her face looked the way it did. It had all the signs and characteristics of cancer. They immediately got me in the following day for my first mammogram. Once the radiologist saw it, he said they needed to do a biopsy immediately. While I went back for the second mammogram to confirm the placement of the marker he had placed into the lump, he told Eric in so many words to find a good Oncologist. That drive home that day was tough. The waiting for the results was even harder. As a Mom, we never want our kids to have pain or fear. I knew this was in Gods hands. My pastor and his wife along with other youth leaders gathered with me at my Pastors house and prayed over me. The results came back inconclusive and the only course of action was complete removal with wide margins. So I went in for surgery unknowing of what the future held. Again the wait.... When I went in for the results I remember the surprise as the surgeon relayed to me it was a harmless fibroadenoma. NOTHING about this lump fit any of those characteristics. I know it took me a while to process because I was not expecting that but I should have. God is mighty to save and for some reason He chose to hear those prayers and perform a miracle. I cannot see the great tapestry he weaves to explain why I was healed and others arent but I know He is sovereign and there is a plan where He gets all the glory.
