HOW DO I KNOW I LOVE YOU? When I read the best meaning in everything you do; when I see your distance not as a rejection of me but as a finding of yourself, when I understand what you meant even when it is full of typographical and grammatical errors, when I feel at peace by the mere thought of you and beautiful glow becomes the you my being experiences. So how do I know I no longer like you? When my radar appears to be searching for fault, consciously or unconsciously, and easily find fault and read your distance as a rejection and paint your actions in the worst possible light. So what do I do when I no longer like you? I allow the LOVE in me to heal the dislike in me. By not allowing the dislike to fester to become destructive but stopping it from expanding and infecting. By allowing a period of evaporation for the dislike to evaporate into a desert where I do not act on them. By recognising what is happening and ensuring it does not destroy during its brewing and evaporating stage. The root cause of the dislike may have already been forgotten but all the random acts of kindness experienced at some point may not have evaporated. So I delve into them to remind myself that no one is totally bad or totally good, or totally perfect or totally imperfect. The root cause of the dislike may be deep indeed but the random acts of kindness run deeper to heal. So that I may LOVE you from a distance and remain in peace with me.
