HOW DO WE SEE THIS SITUATION? Everyone is born into his or her respective family! It is not a natal accident to find anyone in a family or nationality! What is reasonable for a normal human being is to accept and cherish his or her family of birth, his social background that they originate from! Some families are rich, opulent and resplendent! While some families are poor, backward and wallowing in abject poverty! That is natural, but adjustable! While the good family should be made better by its members, the poor family should be improved and made fortunate by its discerning and original members! But if some counterfeited members of a poor family abandon it and decide to seek adoption in other families, built by their members, and which they consider as better and more comfortable than theirs, how do we see the adoptees? One thing is clear, the adoptees do not share consanguinity with their adopted family; they will remain second fiddle with suspicious status! The adoptees will be seen as unreliable bunch of people who are incapable of making their own family better, but are capable of ruining the new family as they have done to theirs! Such adoptees will remain on doubtful list, more like vagabonds! The Yoruba adage says, eni ti o te aso ara re mole, o le fa ti elomiran ya perepere! That is, anyone who tramples on his or her own dress can as well tear more beautiful clothes of other people! Any family member who is dissatisfied by the poor condition of his or her family has responsibility to change the family status, by bringing their worth and personal values to the fore! It is better to be an average man or woman of integrity in ones original family, than to be seen as a respected vagabond in another family! I am only thinking aloud!
