HOW DO YOU HONOR YOUR PARENTS? Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother (this is the first commandment with a promise), that it may go well with you and that you may live long in the land. (Eph.6:1-3) One final day of work here in South Carolina (The Lord Willing :) ) before heading back to Missouri to my sweetheart! It has been wonderful to spend time with family here in the Palmetto State (always is), but hoping to get back with Nancy before church on Sunday morning and the Fall Festival taking place that afternoon on church grounds! One day (again TLW) Nancy and I will be together for these special occasions. There are many who just do not understand what we are doing for Mom (now in our 5th year) in caregiving ... why not just put her in a facility where they can take care of her? We could do that, and may have to end up doing that at some point. However, for now, we believe (through prayer, counsel, and seeking Gods will in His Word) this is the best way to honor a set of Godly parents, who spent 50+ years of their lives raising THREE Godly wives and mothers. It isnt easy (actually, it is the hardest trial we have ever endured ... so far), but IT IS RIGHT! We must all learn to MAKE DECISION TODAY THAT WE WILL NOT REGRET IN THE FUTURE! Blessings, Tim
