HOW GOD HELPED JIMMY SAY GOODBYE “My mom always called me Jimmy. The day my sweet mother passed away, we knew she was close to leaving us and all her FAMILY had GATHERED at the nursing home. The hospice nurse told us it was time; that we should go into the room and say our final goodbyes. I COULDNT GO. IT WAS TOO HARD for me. I felt bad, but I just couldn’t go see her in that state and have that as my final memory of my wonderful mother. Moments later I became aware that the nursing home MUSIC SYSTEM had been playing music all along. Just then, a song came on that she used to sing to me WHEN I WAS A BOY. It was GOODBYE JIMMY GOODBYE.” She passed away THREE MINUTES later. I believe that God was giving my mother ANOTHER WAY to say goodbye to me; through a sign from Him that He was taking her to Heaven. And letting me know that it was OK. These are the words: Goodbye, Jimmy, goodbye Goodbye, Jimmy, goodbye Ill see you again but I dont know when Goodbye, Jimmy, goodbye Jim Kelley ••• The godwink of THE PERFECT SONG coming over the hospital sound system, at precisely the RIGHT MOMENT, was God’s way of saying to Jimmy that his Mom was now in that beautiful place, standing at His side ... don’t YOU think?
