HOW MANY GODS ARE THERE IN THE BIBLE? AKHENATHEN; “Mr. and Mrs. Christian, how many gods are there in your bible?” Mr. and Mrs., Christian’s reply, “That is a stupid question, everyone who ever reads our bible knows that there is only one god and his name is Jehovah!” AKHENATEN; “Mr. and Mrs. Jew, how many gods are there in your bible?” Mr. and Mrs. Jew’s reply, “Mr. and Mrs. Christian warned us about you, they informed us about how dumb you are, but we did not know that you were such a dumb ass. All you have to do is read the entire Old Testament for yourself and you will get the answer to your babyish question. In case you are illiterate let me answer the question for you, there is only one god and his name is Yahweh/YHWH/Jehovah! Some people pronounce or write the name differently but they are referring to the same god; the god of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob.” AKHENATEN, “Why don’t we all rummage through your bible, so we can once and for all expose which one of us is stupid, expose which one is a dumb ass and expose who is none of the two? I will now present to you with abundant indisputable “biblical evidence” that your god Jehovah and the men he inspired to write his bible did indeed acknowledge the existence of a multitude of other gods beside himself, other gods that were the gods of other people as he{Jehovah} was the god of a people of Israel. When I am done with this brief presentation you will be convinced {if you are honest} that the god of the bible, Jehovah, is a god only for the Israelites/Hebrew/Jews, as Deuteronomy 7: 6 clearly states. “For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord {Jehovah} your God has chosen you to be a special people to himself, above all peoples that are upon the face of the earth." (1) Let us start this examination with Jehovah’s first Commandment. "You {Hebrews/Israelites} shall have no other gods before me {Jehovah}.” Exodus 20:3 You can clearly see that in the very first of his Ten Commandments, chiseled in stone, Jehovah acknowledges the existence of other gods. The proper English interpretation of the Hebrew of this verse is, “You shall prefer or choose no other god before me.” (2) In the verse below we read where Jehovah declares that he will punish all the gods of Egypt. I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD— Exodus 12:12 (3)Here we see Jehovah commanded his favorite people not to insult the gods of other people. Thou shalt not revile the gods.--Exodus 22:28 (4) Don’t utter the names of other gods. Make no mention of the name of other gods, neither let it be heard out of thy mouth. Exodus 23:13 (5) Devils are also considered be a kind of gods: They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not. Deuteronomy 32:17 (6) Jehovah is jealous of other gods. And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them. Deuteronomy 28:14 (7) The author of the book of Judges reveals to us the names of two of these other gods. And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook the LORD, and served not him. Judges 10:6 (8) Solomon is bragging that his god is more powerful than all other gods. Solomon is implying here that the other gods are also great, maybe not as great as Jehovah but still great. And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods. 2 Chronicles 2:5 (9) Below we have the names of two more gods one is even a female. For Solomon went after Ashtoreth the goddess of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites. 1 Kings 11:5 (10) Jehovah instructed his people that, after they defeat their enemies don’t investigate about their gods, because you may end up worshiping those gods Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? Even so will I do likewise. Deuteronomy 12:30 (11) We read here where the people from Lycaonia thought that Paul and Barnabas were the Greek gods Zeus and Hermes And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men. And they called Barnabas, Jupiter { Zeus}; and Paul, Mercurius { Hermes}, because he was the chief speaker. Acts 14:11-12 (12) Acts. 19:28 & 35 tell us of the goddess Diana {KJV} {She is named Artemis in NIV of the bible} And when they heard these sayings, they were full of wrath, and cried out, saying, Great is Diana of the Ephesians. And when the townclerk had appeased the people, he said, Ye men of Ephesus, what man is there that knoweth not how that the city of the Ephesians is a worshipper of the great goddess Diana, and of the image which fell down from Jupiter? AKHENATEN: So Mr. and Mrs. Christian and Mr. and Mrs. Jew, with the mountain of evidence that I have provided to you pertaining to this matter, do you still believe that Jehovah is the only god? Haven’t I proven without a shadow of a doubt that your Jehovah is just one of many gods in your holy book; and that in the same manner other people had their own gods, Jehovah was the god of the Jews/Hebrews/Israelites? In the same manner that you the bible believers think that your god Jehovah is the right and the most powerful god, it is the same way all those other people thought and still think that their gods are the right and most powerful gods. (13) Just for good measure, I will now end this presentation of my exposing the many gods that are hidden within the pages of your bible with a brief list of a few more gods that are mentioned by name in your holy-book. Astroloth - Judges 2:13, Samuel 7:3-4 Baal - 2 Samuel 2:8; 1 Kings 17:1, 18:17-19; 2 Kings 1:2-5; Jeremiah 9:13-16; Hoseah2:2-13, 14-22 Baal-zebul - 2 Kings 1:2-5 Bel - Isaiah 46:1-4 (also in apochraphal chapters removed from Daniel) Beelzebul - Mark 3:22 Chemosh - Numbers 21:29, Judges 11:24 "Day Star" and Dawn - Isaiah 14:12-15 Hadad-rimmon - Zechariah 12:11 Ishtar - Jeremiah 44:15-28 Marduk - Jeremiah 50:2-3 Milkom - 2 Samuel 12:30 Nabu - Isaiah 46:1-4 Sakkuth and Kaiwan - Amos 5:26 Tammuz - Isaiah 17:9-11; Ezekiel 8:14-18; Daniel 11:36-39 AKHENATEN: Before I move on to the next topic I would like for you to think about this: HOW CAN YOU? How can you stand there and tell me that you have the WHOLE TRUTH, when you refuse to, or haven’t yet examined ALL of the evidence that is available? How can you sit there and tell me that you have the right religion, when you studied only one religion out of the hundreds of religions in existence? How can you kneel there and tell me that your “holy-book” is the only inspired one, when it is the only “holy book” out of hundreds of holy books in existences today that you have read? How can you sacrifice your time, energy and even your life to an invisible god that you say is the one true invisible god, when you now know that there are hundreds of other invisible gods out there? And if all these gods are invisible how can you tell the difference between them? How can you go through life in the twenty-first century without Thinking for yourself, when Thinking is Easy, and Free? Don’t you know that Thinking is the only thing that will make mankind truly SEE & BE ALL THAT HE CAN BE?…..AND THAT IS TOTALLY FREE! AMAN-RA-AKHENATEN:>The Ghetto Messiah
