HOW MUCH DID HE SELL? By Sharon Faliya Cham How much did Alhaji Ali Modu Shariff sell Borno, Yobe and Adamawa states to Ijaw terrorists? How much did he sell the entire northern Nigeria to these terrorists? Ok, we know that he acquired two very luxurious private jets in 2013, and he has gotten for himself some luxurious homes here and there, and Goodluck Jonathan has turned the Maiduguri international airport into a private one for this fat pig, and he has gotten the exclusive rights to produce a PDP governor for Borno state with or without votes, but is that enough for all these lives, homes, businesses, towns and villages that have thus far been destroyed? How does Ali Modu Shariff feel whenever he hears the daily news of how his people are murdered in hundreds daily along with losing their towns and villages? Stephen Davis said Modu Shariff and Ihejirika are the ones that select targets of assassination for Boko Haram to strike. So, how did Modu Shariff feel when the Emir of Gwoza was killed? How did he feel when several attempts were made to kill the Shehu of Borno? How did he feel when General Mamman Shuwa was murdered? How did he feel when an intelligent old man called Shettima Monguno was kidnapped? How about the Chibok schoolgirls? How does he feel generally about the mayhem and bedlam going on in northern Nigeria? We can understand the fact that Ijaw terrorists are more concerned with their Goodluck Jonathan ruling Nigeria for life without northerners constituting a stumbling block, but how does that make Modu Shariff feel as a collaborator by sacrificing his own people including their rich culture and dignity? Look, Ali Modu Shariff may not be the only sell out from northern Nigeria. Northerners should also look in the direction of all those northerners supporting and working for Goodluck Jonathan in spite of the regimes blatant disdain for their region. Read the news, you will always easily notice them. I once again remember the exclusive story by DAILY SUN newspaper of January 20, 2012 on page 3, which reported that the Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI) had uncovered and busted a plot by some Bayelsa and Adamawa states politicians to bomb the CBN and INEC buildings in Abuja along with a major hotel in Abuja in the name of Boko Haram. That story, along with some other observations I made, gave me the insight to look properly on this huge scam called Boko Haram, and since then my assertions have never been faulted in any way. I think it is time for those who can afford it to mobilise all those refugees in northern Nigeria to come and fill up Ali Modu Shariffs houses in Abuja and Maiduguri. Maybe this way his lost conscience will be regained.
