Matthew 28:18 Someone once asked to know why Satan is so powerful and here is the answer: The devil is so powerful because men are so ignorant. Satan is a bully. If you refuse to enforce the victory of Jesus over Satan in your life, the devil will continue to bully you. Bullies actually back off when you confront and defeat them. Satan is still showing up a great deal in your life because you have not taken it upon yourself to defeat him in your life. It takes stubborn faith to let the devil know that you are aware that he has been defeated. What you often hear will either weaken the devil or empower him in your life. If all you do is to listen to and read about the exploits of Satan, you will soon begin to fear him and so he will try to demonstrate his acts in your life. The question is not why the devil is so powerful but why the Christians give him so much room and attention. In a wrestling match, the attention is always on the winner, not the loser. Jesus is the winner. Satan lost the battle over 2000 years ago. He is under your feet and you are to trample upon him and all his powers. Get up and enforce his defeat. PRAYER GUIDE 1.
