HOW SAFE ARE ELEPHANTS IN SOUTH WESTERN BLOCK OF MAU FOREST COMPLEX? Two days ago, I was on a journey from Silibwet to Kiptagich through the forest. Almost at the middle of the forest, there were these two vehicles, a blue Prado and a Probox, parked almost 500 metres apart. The were no occupants in sight on the two vehicles. At that moment, I just thought the vehicles might have broke down, given the rough road. Today, I was on the same journey again and almost on the same place were parked a saloon 100 and a probox pictured here (not sure if it is the same one I saw 2 days ago) That got me to suspect something is going on inside the forest and your guess is as good as mine- poaching!! Call me alarmist and I will knock your head.
