HOW TO EARN YOUR WINGS (2): Psalm 17: 8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings. In part one we processed the importance of graduating from Gods W.I.N.G.S. Program when you have falling! In this part we want to process how to keep flying when you lost someone or something! Conceptually, David asked the Lord to keep him as the apple of his eye. Nontraditional reasoning would lead us to interpreted David was saying God dont let me fall out of your favor! BELOVED, we are quick to call out sinful behaviors and activities. But what happen when sin is not what cause of you to be out of favor with God? What if pain cause you to be out of favor with God! What if you do not question God and ask him WHY but you question yourself and ask yourself WHY!!! I have only had two time in my life when I felt that way!!! One I will share with you today. In the year of 1996, my mother was told that she had cancer. I went with her to the appointments and treatments. In April of that year she was given to much of the possion that should had made her well. She went from being a woman on the go, to a woman that couldnt get out the bed or take care of herself. This all happen within three months! In the process of time, in July of that year, my brother lost the ability to see. In August my beloved sister got into some situations with the law! I gave up my apartment to move back home to take care of my mother, brother, and my sisters kids! I was working three jobs to make money for the household. I was getting maybe three or four hours of sleep a day!!! I remember thinking to myself IF I HAD WINGS I WOULD FLY AWAY, JUST FOR A FEW HOURS! BUT WHENEVER I WOULD THINK I COULD GET SOME REST, SOMETHING ELSE WOULD HAPPEN!!! OUT OF THE HOLD PROCESS MY FAITH WASNT TESTED UNTIL I HAD TO MAKE ARRANGEMENT FOR MY MOTHER A MONTH BEFORE SHE DIED!!! (R.I.P. MY BEST FRIEND AND MAMA/POGGIE) BELOVED, all I remember from that day was my Aunt Carrie telling me It will be alright, you are strong enough to take it! Remember God will not put more on you than you care handle!!! BELOVED, I ASKED MYSELF WHY DO IT HAVE TO BE ME!!! IMMEDIATELY, GOD ASNWER MY QUESTION!!! IN MY SPIRIT HE TOLD ME SON WHY ASK WHY! KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU AND WILL NEVER LET YOU GO THROUGH SOMETHING WITHOUT MAKING AWAY FOR YOU TO OVERCOME IT!!! BELOVED, GOD LOVE YOU SO MUCH THAT YOUR PAIN IS YOUR POINT OF VICTORY!!! JUST CALL ON THE NAME OF JESUS AND YOU HAVE WON THE FIGHT!!! THE ENEMY WANTS YOU TO LEAVE GOD FOR THE FEELINGS OF PAINS YOU NEVER EXPERIENCE BEFORE. BUT THE VICTORY IS WHEN YOU REALIZE YOU NEVER HAVE EXPERIENCE THEM BEFORE BUT JESUS HAVE!!! Beloved turn it over to the Lord and your pain will feel the divine power of spiritual guidance and healing!!! I did!!! From that moment to this day, GOD HAS GIVEN ME W.I.N.GS. TO FLY HIGHER THAN MY POINTS OF PAIN!!! Psalm 36:7 How excellent is thy loveingkindness. O God! Therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
