HOW TO PEACEFULLY BRING DOWN THIS GOVERNMENT: After today’s CORD rally my resolve that this government should not live beyond August has been strengthened. But how are we ( CORDessians) going bring about this peacefully without any shed of blood? Simple. Now, the 60 day ultimatum that our leadership gave the government is a step in the right direction. We must negotiate and find a peaceful solution to this crisis. But Jubilee will only survive the test of time if they have brains. Seemingly they have none if Hon Ruto’s comments are anything to go by. Should talks fail we will call upon peace loving Kenyans to come out in large numbers and demonstrate in order to throw out this government. We are the people and we have the power. When the people said no, Joseph Estrada and Ferdinand Marcos (worst dictators) had to go. How about of recent next door up North? The people said no and Ben Ali of Tunisia fled? Ghadafi of Libya met his fate, Hosni Mubarak of Egypt gave up, Morsi of Egypt was overthrown and Abdulla Saleh of Yemen had no choice but to go. I know it’s quite easy to think that since they control the security forces they will deal with us…..NO WAY FELLOW CITIZENS!!!! A GOVERNMENT WHERE THE PRESIDENT AND HIS DEPUTY ARE FACING CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY CHARGES AT THE ICC CANNOT ORDER THE POLICE AND THE ARMY TO CRUSH THE PEOPLE. NO THEY CAN’T!!! In fact even the leadership of those forces cannot accept such a move since even they are not indispensable. And that’s why am I saying overthrowing these paper tigers would be just a weeklong affair. But first we need to sober up and give dialogue a chance, we must embrace unity of purpose and live side by side as brothers and sisters and the government of Jubilee must show leadership in all these otherwise their time is numbered. (Kindly note that peaceful demonstration is our constitutional right and whatever expressed here is also my constitutional right).
