HOW-TO PRAY FOR YOUR PASTOR: Day 30 - Financial Provision and Wisdom. Ask God to provide for the financial needs of your pastor and his family. Pray that he will be a wise steward of both personal finances and church funds. Philippians 4:19 – And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Hebrews 13:5 – Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU, 1 Timothy 6:6-11 – 6But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. 11But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness. Psalm 37:25 – I have been young and now I am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken Or his descendants begging bread.
