HPPP in Action 1st Annual Meeting - Agencies and volunteers coming together to further prevent hunger and poverty in Portage County. Please join us for appetizers, discussion, and sharing of information on how we can work together to find short and long term solutions against hunger and poverty. Noon - 1:30 on Wednesday June 4th, 2014 at Woodlands Church (190 Hoover Ave. Plover) We are bringing together agencies and volunteers from across the county to assess current conditions, create solutions, and take action. This meeting will provide an environment for discussion about approaches to prevent hunger and poverty in Portage County. It will also allow for individuals to contribute ideas and network with HPPP to encourage communication between agencies, volunteers and other organizations to distribute information about services and ongoing needs. This event is meant for county and community leaders, advocates, non-profit groups, emergency food providers, producers, community volunteers and educators.
