HR Business Partner/Officer - Rydalmere Payless Shoes Australia opened its first store in Sydney in 1980 and currently operates 141 throughout Australia and employs over 800 Team Members. We are seeking a talented and enthusiasticHR Business Partner/Officer based at our Support Office based in Rydalmere. Working as part of a small HR team, this role will be integral in supporting the National HR Manager. Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to: •Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection of appropriate positions as required in line with recruitment policies and procedures. •Manage and facilitate the Support Office Induction process •Manage the separation of exiting staff including; conducting exit interviews and separation checklists. •Provide Industrial Relations advice and assistance to all levels of associates and management. •Lead/participate in disciplinary action as required. •Support the associates coaching and counselling requirements of the business. •Assist the Human Resources Manager administer the performance/salary review process. •Assist the Human Resources Manager in investigating and resolving grievances. •Interpret and administer the General Retail Industry Award. •Develop and maintain a range of HR policies, procedures, organisation charts, reports and other documentation. •Maintain Workers Compensation database and ensure effective monthly reporting. •Develop regular reports including turnover, recruitment metrics, sick leave, and other ad-hoc reports as required. •Ensure all associates records are maintained to company requirements. •Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation. •Provide assistance to the National Human Resources Manager. To be suitable for this role, you will need to possess: •At least 2-3 years of experience in an HR Business Partner/Officer/Coorindator tasksis essential. •Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlookis essential. •Exceptional organisational skills •Ability to multitask and prioritise •Exceptional communication skills and the ability to liaise with employees at various levels within the company •Strong attention to detail •Enthusiastic team player •Good numeric skills and capable of multi-tasking •Ability to deal with confidential matters is essential. Due to the location of the role and some of the duties involved, candidates must possess a current drivers licence and will have access to the Company pool car.
