HT: Southampton 1-0 Arsenal It was a, bizarre, goal to say the least. We started the game and where immediately under pressure from the saints, however with a good defensive display, and great saves by Szczesny, we prevented conceding any goals, up until the 33rd minute... Our midfield looks very make-shift, with Coquelin and Chambers playing as defensive mid, Cazorla or the left, Chamberlain out right, and Little Mozart in the hole. Our DMs did an alright job in my opinion, with this being Chambers first time featuring in that position. It was noticeable that they werent very used to playing on that position with each other, so that was something to work on. The three in front of them rotated brilliantly, with chamberlain especially popping up everywhere on the pitch, as well as Cazorla and Rosicky swapping wings and making life difficult for the Southampton defense. We were defiantly lacking a traditional CF, with Giroud banned, and Sanogo and Welbeck injured; we play Alexis Sanchez upfront. He dropped into midfield to much, and didnt allow for our midfield to make runs into the box. For the second half, i would sub on Walcott as a striker and take off Rosicky, who in my opinion was the least impressive of our midfield. Alexis to move out left, Cazorla down the Middle, Chamberlain on the right, and Walcott as a striker... COYG!! #MG
