HUFFPOST HUFFY ABOUT RUSSIA Over the past 24 hours Huffington Post has made a concerted attempt to discredit Russia. The first picture, above, leading one to believe Russia invaded Ukraine, is linked to this NY Times story, which claims as its source, Kiev government officials, notorious for lying whenever their forces suffer defeat at the hands of ethnic Russians in the East. Russia Today runs a story this morning claiming more Ukrainian troops have gone to Russia seeking refuge-- they really dont appear to have much will to fight against their fellow citizens in the East, and many in the Army are ethnic Russians themselves, not enthusiastically supporting the Kiev government they see as not democratically coming into power. nytimes/2014/08/28/world/europe/ukraine-russia-novoazovsk-crimea.html?_r=2 rt/news/183240-ukraine-troops-russia-border/ The second major headline in the picture links to this Bloomberg story. Buried deeply down in the story is this: Still, the trail is muddy enough that investigators are considering the possibility that it’s cyber criminals from Russia or elsewhere in Eastern Europe. So this may not have been the Russian government after all, but most people wont go that deep into the story and assume the worst about Russia. bloomberg/news/2014-08-27/fbi-said-to-be-probing-whether-russia-tied-to-jpmorgan-hacking.html This morning, Huffpost couldnt resist one more shot at Russia, including Russia in a piece titled What The Worlds Most Repressive Regimes Have To Say About Ferguson. The piece did not include Bahrain, where the vast majority of the population, the Shiah majority, are oppressed by the King, with help from Saudi Arabia, which was also not included, perhaps because this champion of human rights abuses provides us with so much light sweet crude. There are a great many U.S. allies we would list as having more repressive regimes than Russia. huffingtonpost/2014/08/27/ferguson-oppressive-countries_n_5723720.html We could have done this story about NPR, PBS, Washington Post, MSNBC, or other major media identified as liberal, because they all echo the official National Security State line, but decided to use Huffpost, who we actually see as better than the others listed in much of their reporting. luvnews.info/NatSec.htm Jack Revolutionist To join the Liberty Underground news service go here: luvnews.info/Join.htm or join our Facebook group here: https://facebook/groups/461619557192964/ email: libertyuv@hotmail Tell your friends about LUV News because some people just dont get it
