HUGE EXCITING NEWS!!! Over the last several years Katlyn has had a dream to help other families who are dealing with children who have serious illnesses. She has held onto that dream and has kept it alive by raising money for The Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House along with giving money out of her own pocket or re-gifting things that she has received in order to help other families in need. This past spring Katlyn and her Dream had caught the attention of some very influential people in the Las Vegas Community. This group of people decided to help Katlyn turn that DREAM into a REALITY. Today we received the news that it is official KATLYNS DREAM has become a reality and received its NON PROFIT STATUS from the IRS!!! To Everyone who assisted in making this DREAM a REALITY there will never be enough words to express our THANKS!! Thanks for believing in a teen who had a dream and was determined to make it a reality and all while fighting a serious illness of her own. Thank you for giving our daughter something she can look forward to and for giving her something she can be PROUD of. To Katlyn: Once again as parents we find ourselves so very proud of you. You had a dream and you were determined to never let anyone take that dream away from you. Well, it is official that dream is now a reality. We hope that it will bring you great pride and joy to know that you HAVE and are CONTINUING to touch lives and inspire people. Most of all we hope that you never forget that your illness has not defined you but has MADE you the AMAZING young woman that you are!!
