HUGE HUGE Mahalo to so many people who contributed to the success of our recent concert. The generosity of Keale Kupuna, Stephen Inglis, Bill Griffin, and Chris Lau for making the trip to mainland to share their Aloha with all of us on the west coast. Mahalo to Valerie Butler and Brian C. Butler, and their keiki Jake and Clara. Quite simply, the show would not have happened without the hard work and support of this family. I cherish this ohana! Mahalo nui to Catherine and Doug Rowe, and Kumu Andrea Luchese and Kenika, for opening your homes so the musicians could stay with halau ohana. Mahalo to Sandra Stamos, Denise Moffatt, Theresa Della Lana, David Della Lana, Lori Davis, Laurel Bloombaum, Constance Griggs, Rita, Kimberlee Olson, Lisa Bailey Browne, Sheila Canal, Kathy Eckardt Huff, and any others Ive missed for contributing food to the host houses and the snack sales at the show. We can always count on our halau to make sure people are fed!! Mahalo nui loa to Lori Davis and Kathy Eckardt Huff for taking tickets to class to sell, and for manning the snack table in the cold Fall night air, Youre the Best!! Mahalo nui loa to all of the dancers who enhanced the show with your beautiful hula, what a wonderful experience. Mahalo to my friends Sherry Bolin, and Kimberly Hauschild et. al., who drove long distances to show their support. Mahalo nui loa to Naomi, Virginia, and Al, at Grizzly Peak Winery, so patient, so gracious, so amazing to work with!! Mahalo nui loa to all who bought tickets to support Hawaiian music in the Rogue Valley; every one of you made the musicians feel the aloha we have here in So Oregon. And lastly, Mahalo Nui Loa to my husband, Chris Johnson, for keeping the house going while I worked on the show, for cooking dinners and walking the dog and all of your support in everything thats important to me. I love you to the moon and back!
