HUGE KATIE GABBERT UPDATE: Today I was in the room with Ben and Katie when the neurologists nurse practitioner asked Katie to lift her arm. SHE LIFTED BOTH ARMS. She asked Katie to nod her head...SHE LIFTED HER HEAD. Ben and I were both surprised. Now for the really big news. Lily (Katies sister) Ben, Tracy and I were together this morning while Katie was having a test run to wean her off the vent. She did well for an hour being FULLY off the vent. Lily just gave us an update and KATIE HAS BEEN FULLY OFF THE VENT ALL DAY! PRAISE THE LORD. The miracle on Mead street continues...Katie and God continue to shock the medical field.
