HUGO AIMS TO KEEP MOMENTUM GOING Fresh from captaining us to a Europa League play-off first leg victory in Cyprus, Hugo Lloris is looking to keep the winning momentum going against QPR. With away victories at West Ham and AEL Limassol already under our belt, Hugo is hoping we can maintain our winning form in our first home game of the season against QPR. The squad has shown great resilience having been down to 10 men for a long spell at Upton Park and trailing in the Mediterranean heat against AEL Limassol, leaving Hugo all the more confident that we will get a first home win of the season on Sunday. “We need a good recovery after a long trip and a difficult game in difficult conditions but with the win it will be easier to recover,” he said. “We know QPR lost their first game so they are going to try and get a point or more at White Hart Lane, especially for Harry Redknapp because he knows the club.” After back-to-back away matches, Hugo is eagerly anticipating the prospect of playing in front of our home supporters again as we embark on three games at White Hart Lane in the space of seven days. “It’s important to start the season well at home in front of our fans,” he added. “We did well against Schalke and West Ham and we have to keep going to keep our confidence up and get as many points as we can as soon as possible.”
