Helen Hayes said, MY mother drew a distinction between achievement and success. She said that achievement is the knowledge that you have studied and worked hard and done the best that is in you. Success is being praised by others. Success is nice but not as important or satisfying. Always aim for achievement and forget about success. Miss Hayes Mother was wise indeed. Success in Gods eyes lies in the ability to place more importance on doing the work He has set before you than on striving for recognition. So if you want to be a true success, forget about being successful. Concentrate, instead, on honoring God by doing your best and becoming the best you you can be.
