Ceri Naz) World Poetry Empowered Poet, Educator,Editor & Journalist HULAHOK From this day forward, Hulahok won’t make us pout! HULAHOK is now reverberating in Facebook. From seventy-two ( 72 ) countries (now 141 countries around the world) and counting, more and more OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers ) claim that HULAHOK is their “classroom of jokes’’. It is a rehabilitation site and relieving site for the depressed and the homesick through HAHAHA exercise. Hulahok came from the words hula (means guess) and lalahok (means join). Noteworthy posts from our global Pinoys, inaugurated as OFW Generation Unique, are funny jokes, poetry, videos, stories, original scripts, and pick up lines. But most of all, after the ingenious questions of Kuya Manny are answered-- there comes a great jubilation! A book entitled Hulahok, Imbensyon, Resipe atbp. by Kuya Manny was published. Calpito Dissectionary is another beaming game. Deciphering other meanings in the words and phrases become a mental neurobics and a total fun! Awards were given to lucky commenters and fastest likers; the first to post the correct answer is the official valedictorian. Five-timer valedictorians are inducted as HALL OF FAMERS. Kuya Manny’s internet television, OTUSA.TV , is the first in the history of e-television broadcasting live in Facebook. The man behind OPERATION TULONG in the Philippines and the USA, ‘’Ako ang larawan ng Pilipinas’’ as his self-description, was recently awarded as ‘’ KING OF PHILIPPINE MEDIA’’ in Las Vegas. For the many, he is the man who galvanizes his words into actions. He has lined projects like School of Inventors, OFW Industrial Revolution and OFW Generation Unique. These projects aim to promote Filipino skills and talents worldwide. It open avenues to be more productive and creative citizens. HULAHOK, the group’s banner, headed by Kuya Manny Calpito is open for all. It is not merely a funny group but a rendezvous of wisdom, innovation and creativity of its members.
