HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT First National Bank of Lesotho Limited (FNBL) a highly recognised financial services provider in Lesotho seeks to employ a proactive, innovative, self driven and highly motivated Mosotho to occupy the position of HUMAN RESOURCE ASSISTANT. JOB PURPOSE Under the direct supervision of the Human Resource Manager, the incumbent must implement Human Resource Guidelines, processes and procedures to ensure smooth Human Resource Activities. Knowledge of Lesotho legislation governing Human Resources is required. Key Responsibilities; • Ensure that all FNBL branches are staffed with suitable candidates through the application the application of suitable recruitment policies for the bank. • Assist with implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures. • Manage staff payroll and personnel information system for the bank • Manage the entire recruitment process e.g. joining formalities, employment contracts, etc • Communicates all HR related issues to employees to gain a full understanding and compliance of HR issues. • Ensure that performance management system is in place and assist with its implementation. • Assist management with Industrial relations and Trade Union issues and ensures that both management and staff are fully informed on the interpretation and application of the Bank’s disciplinary code and procedure. • Facilitates and attends disciplinary hearings as an advisor and recorder. • Compile reports for management from time to time. • Processes, facilitates and administers transfers, promotions/ demotions and resignations of FNBL employees. (Employee Lifecycle Activities) • Conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
