HUMMINGBIRDS - Does anyone in North Central Ohio still have Hummingbirds coming to their feeders? Actually, Hummingbird feeders are supposed to go out on May 1st & taken down on September 1st, which Ive been doing for years. I cleaned & refilled my feeder about a week ago & havent refilled it at all since. There is probably about 4 of the sugar/water solution still in it, which the Bees are thoroughly enjoying, but the Hummingbirds are still coming also. I dont know whether to empty it out, or just let them finish the little bit that is left in there. With the news we are supposed to have a worst winter than last winter, which I didnt think could be any worse, Im thinking of letting them finish it, so they will get the nourishment that they need to take migratory flight before winter. Any thoughts?
