Heres a few ideas for you to head to tonight if you fancy some music, entertainment or even a midweek play. BROOMHILL 1. Its the Traps open mic night tonight and a chance to entertain the clientelle with some music, comedy or anything else you fancy. CATTERICK 1. A superb night of music at The Angel Hotel this evening with 3 fantastic bands; So What - One of the best hard rock bands out there. Paragon - Superb rock cover band playing Dokken, Dream Theatre, Satriani, Winger, Journey, Ratt and many more. The Fury Remains - We dont know anything about the bands, so leave a comment and let people know what they play. So thats a feast of music lined up and all for free, all kicking of at 8pm. DARLINGTON 1. The Quakerhouse are bringing you Animate this evening, for a night of Deep Purple, Jethro Tull, Pink Flloyd and many more great bands. GATESHEAD 1. Get along to THE THREE TUNS, SHERIFF HILL, GATESHEAD OFFICIAL SITE tonight and join in one of the regions original buskers nights, and a chance to play at one of the very best venues around. Turn up, play and enjoy a cracking evening. 2. OKeefs have their Buskateers night and a chance to drop in and catch a few tunes from local artists or better still play a few tunes and get everyone smiling and pick up a free pint for your trouble. GOSFORTH 1. The weekly The Acoustic Lounge at Barca - Gosforth takes place tonight from 8.30pm, featuring some great local artists showcasing their talents. Tonight we have: 8.30 - 9.00pm - Sam Wright 9.00 - 9.30pm - The All-Consuming Groove 9.30 - 10.00pm - Aaron Presstud Potter 10.00 - 10.30pm - Larry Page 10.30 - 11.00pm - Sam Wright Get along to catch some great tunes, and lend your support to the artists and venue. MIDDLESBROUGH 1. Its the monthly open mic night at The Gables this evening, all standards and abilities are welcome, and even if you just want to come down and enjoy the performances then The Gables is a cozy and friendly bar. NEWCASTLE 1. Its the Bluesburn buskers evening at The Tyne Bar this evening and a chance to play at an iconic venue with lots of great singers and artists performing. Get yourself along for a fantastic chill out evening in good company and great entertainment. NORTH SHIELDS 1. The Ballarat Hotel hosts their weekly buskers night this evening with some great musicians showing their talent and providing a great evening of entertainment. Call down and join in with a tune or two or just enjoy the friendly atmosphere. SOUTH SHIELDS 1. If you like a bit of blues then The Bridge is the place to be as they will be holding their monthly blues night, with guest host Chris Watkins, with a full PA with monitors + Di, backline provided. Chance to showcase your talents or just enjoy a chill out evening. 2. Claiming Wednesdays back for Rock is The Music Shack who are launching their weekly Rock Nights event, featuring bands and a cracking disco. Tonight features Fire Lady Luck an alternative rock/pop punk band. Kicks off at 8 until late. SUNDERLAND 1. Its buskers night at The Avenue this evening hosted by Foster and Hardy. Chance to play a tune or two to relax and after the week so far or just get along to enjoy the evenings entertainment. 2. The Isis is holding their weekly buskers night tonight and chance to play at one of Sunderlands oldest pubs and where you will receive a great welcome, especially if you are playing a few tunes. Free pint for every participant. Call down for a canny night and enjoy a great night, with good music. 3. Buskers night at the Saltgrass in Deptford from 9pm free pint for every performer and free hot food for everyone on the bar. WASHINGTON 1. Getting up and running at The Sandpiper - Washington is their weekly buskers evening kicking off at 8.30pm. This is the second week of this event, having launched last week, so lets get along and give them our support by playing a few tunes or just by calling in to catch some music from local artists.
