HUNGARY BECAME THE FIRST COUNTRY AND FIRST TIME IN EUROPE TO INTRODUCE SPECIAL VISA PROCEDURES UNDER WHICH SPECIAL COMPANIES WILL GET THE RIGHT TO GRANT VISAS TO CITIZENS OF AZERBAIJANI CITIZENS 27TH JANUARY 2014 Hungary, the first country in the EU, is introducing special visa regime for citizens of Azerbaijan. Today in Baku Hungarian State Secretary of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs Peter Szijjarto has stated that Hungary attaches great importance to developing relations with Azerbaijan, in particular in the field of tourism. We’re developing a special visa procedure for citizens of Azerbaijan, according to which Azerbaijani citizens will be able to apply for visas not only to diplomatic missions, but also to special companies that will get the right to grant visas to the citizens of Azerbaijan, Szijjarto said. He made his statements Azerbaijani-Hungarian business forum taking place in Baku currently. The opening of direct flight between the two countries has contributed not only to the development of tourist relations, but also to business relations. In this context, we decided to sign an intergovernmental agreement on air communication, Szijjarto said. Also, today in Baku the Azerbaijani-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation has held a meeting.
