HWMR WK36- day1 Gen.1:26 And God said,Let us make man in Our image,according to Our likeness; and let them have dominion ...over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. 28 And God blessed them; and God said to them,Be fruitful and multiply,and fill the earth and subdue it,and have dominion... Amen The Bible says that man was made in the image of God. Nothing I higher than God. Thus,man was made in the image of the highest One. Perhaps we have never regarded ourselves this highly before. Because we bear the divine image,we should have high regard for ourselves. We our not low creature; we are made for the purpose of expressing God and exercising His dominion. The subject of Genesis is man bearing the image of God and exercising Gids dominion over all things. We bear Gods image that we might express Him,and we have Gods dominion that we might represent Him. Therefore,we are Gods expression and representation. This is the heart of Genesis. Amen
