HYPE (A0989779) “Loves to play, is very active Likes to be petted, hugged”, “Shes a good dog as long as she gets to know you first”, “As long as shes with her daughter”—those are some of the words used by the good Samaritan who took in 3 year old Hype and her 9 month old daughter, Diamond - A0989780 after their owner tied them up and then left the building. But Hype is not in a cage at Brooklyn ACC with her daughter, she doesn’t have any chance to meet and greet folks and show them what a good, sweet girl she can be. Instead, she is anxioux, worried about her pup, Diamond; afraid of everything and everyone. Young Hype can only rely on scaring all those scarry people away and of course, that got her a terrible Safer. ACC’s answer to Hype’s fear is to put BOTH Hype and her pup, Diamond, on tonight’s euthanasia list. That will resolve all the dilemma that bonded, scared dogs bring. Tonight both these girls need someone who is extra special; someone, who is experienced with dogs who are aggressive ‘cause they’re scared out of their mind; someone who understands that Hype is acting like any good mom would act. If you’re that person, start applying to rescues to foster or adopt Hype (and maybe Diamond).
