HYTHE: Celebrity antique dealer, Alison Chapman, best known for her regular appearances as an antiques expert on various hit television programmes including Secret Dealers and David Dickinsons Real Deal, has had her Hythe shop broken into in the early hours of this morning (Sunday). A man smashed his way into Alisons shop, Owlets, on the High Street, using a crowbar. The burglar then proceeded to smash open glass cabinets to steal items. Alison has appealed to anyone who recognises the thief to contact Kent Police quoting crime ref: ZY37612 14. Alison said We photograph every item of stock. By tomorrow I will easily identify each piece this man stole. I do have some even better footage, but, I cant release this at the moment.
