Ha! whoop whoop! uh huh! uh huh! Mama got her mojo back! After a short pity party (and a few heart to hearts with a couple of girlfriends who called me and my brother and my son)..... I got up and grabbed my tool box, figured out how to use the vacuum on carry mode, unhooked all the cords and cables on the modem. installed the modem and got the wireless hooked up... and the speakers work! Im good, Im good (yes, said it outloud to reinforce,) Suzy called me and took me to a fabric store ... one I used to shop at, but only remembered that they had retro/vintage fabrics. Well ..... they had the perfect fabric 100% silk *shriek* and the trims we wanted. He gave me extra because it was the end of the bolt and 10% off because I teach at FIDM... I was so elated, I took Suzy to Cantors for a lean corned beef sandwich... on rye... with a perfect dill pickle and.... a cream soda. We split the sandwich which was just right and sat there in the booth making purring ecstasy sounds. What a perfectly wonderful day. Since I dont have cable anymore, Im going to Suzys to watch TV on her giant screen tonight. Tomorrow, sort one more box of paper, work on Rebeccas pillows and drive to Laguna to see friends. Monday, Ill finish the pillows, send them off, do the research for the curriculum upgrades (meeting on Wednesday... gotta have some spectacular suggestions) Whoop whoop! Im on that horse and riding again.
