Haaaaaay!I cant sleeep, everybody calling me to bath with salt to avoid ebola. Who told them this oooh! The calls are coming in especially from village people, yes there is a little sense in that. Research have shown that the ebola virus can not withstand sunlight, detergents, high concentration of salt etc. I think people living in places where the outbreak is high, have been advised to bath with salt, because this is the easiest way to alter the pH level of the body, if the virus comes in contact with the body, it dies immediately...This is the simple chemistry behind the salt bathing that is raging on. Bathing with salt, makes some chemistry sense, but i think it should be reserved for now for places with hyper ebola outbreaks, where contacts with the virus could be very high. Africans have discovered an ebola fortification method, but what we are doing that is not right, is the panic behind the salt water bath. Encourage people to constantly bath with salt water, and all persons doing laundry business should us hand gloves and it is a must you use washing machines, if you cant afford one, then add enough salt and detergents when washing, but allow the cloths to soak long enough. ...
