Habakkuk 1 King James Version (KJV) 1 The burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see. 2 O Lord, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save! 3 Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention. 4 Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth. habakkuk the prophet, saw the state of being in these ages past,so perplexed and bewildered at the sin and evil that reigned in his country lebonon, that went unrecompensed by the Lord.how helpless he must have felt.i ask you family,is not this description,of those times and the iniquity that abounded in that day, exactly the same state of being,in our own country, this day and time?sin abounds and flourishes,in the apathy that man possesses and employs, where the morals and righteousness of the Lords teachings, and instructions, are forsaken for profit, self glory, power and fame.we stand in awe of a rock star,or politician, but cast not one glance, nor heed one word, from the man who God chose,to proclaim His word,in the effort to plant seeds of salvation, and righteousness ,amoung His children.God answered habakkuk; 5 Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvelously: for I will work a work in your days which ye will not believe, though it be told you. 6 For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs. 7 They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves. 8 Their horses also are swifter than the leopards, and are more fierce than the evening wolves: and their horsemen shall spread themselves, and their horsemen shall come from far; they shall fly as the eagle that hasteth to eat. 9 They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand. 10 And they shall scoff at the kings, and the princes shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it. i have felt the same desperation and helplessness, that habakkuk felt.but then a scripture comes to remembrance, consuming my heart; Psalm 27:14 King James Version (KJV) 14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord. He shall come, and all judgement with Him.and in that day,all will be recompensed,[paid back],and the glory of His judgement shall reign, for all eternity, and all this inequity and evil, shall cease to exist amoung us.for this day,i shall pray and wait.... for the promise of restoration, for this nation; 2 Chronicles 7:14 King James Version (KJV) 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. God bless all,and i pray you receive this message,as it is ministered,in the name of Jesus Christ, amen. :)
