Habakkuk 3:17-19, Even though the fig trees have no fruit and no grapes grow on the vine, even though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no corn, even though the sheep all die and the cattle stalls are empty, I will still be joyful and glad, because the Lord God is my savior. The sovereign Lord gives me strength. He makes me sure-footed as a deer, and keeps me safe on the mountains. Good Morning! The story expressed by Habakkuk is similar to that of Job, about lacking everything on earth; and no good happens at a time when they are most afflicted by the troubles of this world. Now Habakkuk says that even though everything comes to a standstill, he will still keep his focus on the Almighty God. My dear friend, this is the same attitude we should have concerning God; that He will always remain God, even though we have no food, shelter or clothing. My dear friend, when we trust God beyond our ability to understand, He will always show Himself to us. Things may not be going as we expect them to, but there should be no reason to panic, no reason to despair, and certainly, no reason to worry since worrying is useless as says St. Padre Pio. Only commit your all to the Lord, and say, “Lord, I am all yours, do in me what you want to do”.
