Habakkuk 3:17-19 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive drop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to on on the heights. Last night, Christmas Eve, all night long the last part of this song I embed in this post was playing in my head, over and over again. When I awoke early morning, way before I wanted to get out of bed and before I went back to sleep, the last part of this song was in my head. Let it rain, open the floodgates of heaven. Amen. Put upon me, Lord, anything that brings me as close to You as I can be, no matter how painful, no matter the suffering. Memories play in my head like a movie, sounds, voices, words spoken, things seen, I have an eidetic memory (a curse, a blessing) and I dont know how to shut it down. Let it rain upon me, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. To all mothers and fathers who lost children to suicide, I had an appointment today at 11:30AM with my Mammon Marie, the Mother of Jesus. I spent 1/2 hour saying the Rosary in French because when I do that I am once again in Lourdes, France, before the Grotto. And I am still standing. And, I shall stand until God calls my name. Listen to this song, lift your voices, lift your hands, call down the rain of God. Deuteronomy 31:6: Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. youtube/watch?v=J-oXbse0EkA
