Hachi update for those that may not have read it in the comments: Thanks everybody. When I went out this morning to clean their areas and feed them, Hachi presented with excessive drooling on both sides of his mouth and was standing in one spot acting confused and panting excessively. He would not acknowledge me. He is usually very energetic and excited to see me, but he wouldnt look at me. I backed up my Suburu to the fence because he did not want to walk. We had to pick him up. I got to the vet and by that time his tongue was hanging out and he wouldnt move. The vet tech and Dr. Ward came out to help us get him inside. Hes huge. Initial examination showed no temp, but he was still exhibiting the same symptoms as above and his pupils were constricted. Needless to say I was crying. I just got a call that his bloodwork regarding organ function looks fine but also by his bloodwork, he apparently has a massive infection somewhere, indicating an abscess. Dr. Ward states that coupled with the neurological symptoms is strange. He still isnt ruling out a toxin of some sort like a poisonous frog or snake. But he is going to put him on antibiotics, shock medication, pain meds, and fluids and do some X-rays and keep him a couple of days. I am sooo scared. Last night when we walked and played, he was fine. Im so worried about my big baby. :( thank you for your prayers.
