Had Moses split the sea into two halves? Miracle:- In Arabic it is called MOJZA Most of people take this incident as Miracle. Let us ponder what is reality behind this Quranic event. We should keep it mind that The Quran is not a Magic book but it is code of life for the whole human being which does not mentions or support any MOJZA/Miracle. There is no word of MOJZA in the Quran even. Sura Al BAQARA 2/50 تَنظُرُونَ وَأَنتُمْ فِرْعَوْنَ آلَ وَأَغْرَقْنَا فَأَنجَيْنَاكُمْ الْبَحْرَ بِكُمُ فَرَقْنَا وَإِذْ Out of this الْبَحْرَ بِكُمُ فَرَقْنَا The word FARQ has its root Fa Ra Qa means to separate .. Subject to Intuitive(KHAASA WAGDAAN )الْبَحْرَ بِكُمُ فَرَقْنَا means “We found the sea separated from its edges . Observations are the witness that the sea does not rise and fall without the ‘Time and Tide’, These meaning are right according to the observations but the Common TAFASEER mentions it as miracle that Moses was ordered to strike on the sea and so the ways came into existence.. Messenger Moses along with Bani Israeel passed through that, The water was still stand. Soon the army of the Firaun wanted also to go through the same water which passed over them due to which they/Firaun with his army drowned.. When the Quran says that 35/43 تَبْدِيلًا اللَّهِ لِسُنَّتِ تَجِدَ فَلَن (You will never find that the universal Laws change) To become still stand a running water is against the Sunnat illah..In reality Allah had revealed Moses at the right time when the water was in down fall .Also please see 20/77 يَبَسًا الْبَحْرِ فِي طَرِيقًا لَهُمْ فَاضْرِبْ بِعِبَادِي أَسْرِ أَنْ مُوسَىٰإِلَىٰأَوْحَيْنَا وَلَقَدْ ( Thereafter Moses continued training and educating the Bani-Israel and at the appropriate time.) We revealed to Moses “ now leave Egypt together with our devotees. Do so during the night and take them across from that part of the sea where the water has receded You should not be afraid of being overtaken or drowning” 26/63 , 24/29. So when the Bani Israel had passed through , FIRAUN/ Pharaoh chased to catch them without knowing the rise of the water, put his army in the sea in rising water ,he drowned along with his army. How the error happened to understand as Miracle:- الْبَحْرَ بِّعَصَاكَ اضْرِب أَنِ 26/63 for these words the concept has been taken as “ strike your stick to the sea” in the above verse 20/77 الْبَحْرِ فِي طَرِيقًا لَهُمْ فَاضْرِبْ بِعِبَادِي أَسْرِ أَنْ it has been addressed to لَهُمْ which is plural used for Bani Israel and here لَهُمْ فَاضْرِبْ means guide/tell them but not to beat or strike in 26/63 it has been used as الْبَحْرَ بِّعَصَاكَ اضْرِب أَنِ . and بِّعَصَاكَ is in replacement of بِعِبَادِي. Now ASAA also means stick but also means Jamaat. But when بِّعَصَاكَ has been written in replacement of بِعِبَادِي.,it is clear that it is not stick but the Jamaat of Moses Bani Israel. And the correct meaning is “Guide your Jamaat towards the sea ( tell them dry passage 22/77). Please see carefully the comparison of words as under:- يَبَسًا الْبَحْرِ فِي طَرِيقًا لَهُمْ فَاضْرِبْ بِعِبَادِي أَسْرِ أَنْ مُوسَىٰ إِلَىٰ أَوْحَيْنَا وَلَقَدْ 20/77- الْبَحْرَ بِّعَصَاكَ اضْرِب أَنِ مُوسَىٰ إِلَىٰ أَوْحَيْنَا وَلَقَدْ 26/63- It is the same incident happened in both of the verses . 20/77 is making clear that Moses was ordered to guide the dry passage of the sea , Here لَهُمْ فَاضْرِبْ means to guide them is more correct but not to strike, In any of the Bay the passage is dry when the water s falling down. In both of the above sentences فَاضْرِبْ and اضْرِب are mutual words where as مُوسَىٰ إِلَىٰ أَوْحَيْنَا are the same words لَهُمْ has been used for Bani Israel for which the mutual word بِّعَصَاكَ has come. But does not mean stick. Conclusion :- After comparing both of the above verses There is no chance to conceive the meaning “Strike the sea with stick and to split that. It is ridiculous and also to redicule the quran. Here لْبَحْرِ does not mean river neil but bay. It means the portion of the water which has gone deep into the Egypt. The water used to rise and fall due to Time and Tide. Please share…
