Had a God even takes care of the small stuff moment today. Ive posted that Laney and I are concentrating on two topics this summer (leadership and the Fruits of the Spirit). The resources for kids her age on the latter topic are sorely lacking, so Ive been doing my own research / making them. I found in a chain store during my visit 7 of 9 books in a series (each book about one fruit) for $1 each that I really liked. But I was missing two. One of my stops today on the way home included finding another store in that chain. At first glance it looked like the only books they had were the ones I had already purchased... But I kept getting that nudge to look harder. I finally sat down on the floor, pulled all the boxes off the bottom shelf in the book section, and there in the very back (they had fallen down behind the shelves from the original location) was one copy of each of the two books I still needed. Its a small thing... $2 worth of books. But it was something that meant a lot to my heart... and I am always grateful for those reminders that God truly does care about everything... Even the small stuff.
