Had a LOOoooNG walk from Snape to Iken with Leon this afternoon.....bloody glorious. Called in to see Roy Rodgers exhibition before we came home. Not overly impressed. The exhibition, consisting of about 20 pieces, was run by 4 very loud people all trying to out-posh each other....squawking artspeak across the room for all they were worth and giving an obvious oik like me condescending glares. Like a lot of these type of artists the impact all comes from the physical size of the canvas.... when you look closer some are not very well rendered although you wouldnt think so judging by the prices. (£600 to £1000 a shot) Definitely look better online than in real life. However a quick tot up of red dots showed hed sold about six grands worth today (1st day) Goes to show its really who you are and how well you can talk the talk that counts, rather than quality. Having said all that, I shall continue doing what I do and be grateful for the crumbs I am fed :-)
