Had a art filled afternoon of teaching, leading and creating with about 40 youth people at the Handala Center, Al Azza Refugee Camp. We gathered on the 4th floor of the center, rolled about about 40 feet of drawing paper, threw down 144 markers and turned on some music. I talked to the young artist about creating what they felt and experienced and to allow their feelings/thoughts and emotions spill out on the paper. By the time we were done we had listened to classic/Latin/jazz/R&B and some Heavy-metal music and alot of drawing was accomplished. All the young artist said they felt better after they were done then when they started, which of course was our goal - they are all looking forward to returning on Tuesday for another round of art! https://facebook/pastor.steve.braudt/media_set?set=a.10151861632747595.1073741846.606032594&type=1
