Had a conversation today with a cab driver today about rich corporations that needlessly penny pinch despite posting billions and billions of dollars in profit every year... CABBIE: Yeah man, see this Starbucks coffee? Used to cost me $1.95 a cup. But after they raised the minimum wage in Seattle where Starbucks is based, all of a sudden, my cup of coffee is $2.25 man... ME: You know who Id like to find? That punk executive at McDonalds who walked into a board meeting one day and said, Guys, you wanna know how we can make another $200,000 every year? Instead of giving people that order 20-piece nuggets 4-5 packs of sauce, we only give them 3, and then charge them 25 cents each for the extra ones theyll want! Muahahahaa! Wish I could punch that guy in the face.
