Had a few hours on the river today, started off fishing for chub on the tip, fished half dozen swims pre-baited with bread mash and managed four to around 3.5lb on cheese paste. Then this afternoon went on the drop shot and caught virtually a perch a chuck to around the pound mark and a bonus chub, this evening I fished the locks at atherstone and failed miserably on the drop shot for Zander. Not a bad day though considering it was half eleven before I got on the bank.
