Had a good finish to the Cabelas Western Classic yesterday! We swung for they fences on day one but only weighted in 23 lbs. That was good enough to keep us in the hunt. We needed a new plan for day 2. As we chased fresh bait for 5 hours, yes 5 hours we decided to just put in in the morning and fish. It paid off with a third place finish. With FRESH bait and NOT giving up we went from 11th to 3rd with a 42 lb stringer. We would like to thank our sponsors Tangling with catfish and Whisker Seeker tackle. The Whisker Seeker Circle hooks worked great. A lot of guys said they lost a bunch of big fish. We never lost a fish that would have helped us. We were sticking 2 lb channels with 10/0 hooks!
