Had a good friend ask me about my hippie posts recently. Haha rather than inbox back, I think I will answer here... For the last 8 years I have been pursuing my career as an RN. It took me 5 years to finish my prerequisites with a newborn Autumn, two years of 40-70 weeks to complete nursing school, and a year of job searching. During that time I raised our 5 kiddos, maintained and did improvements on our home, and struggled to be a good mom, student and wife. While I see the fruit of my labors in my children, home, and school, as most of you know, my marriage is being currently dissolved. It was years of barely keeping my head above water and I often felt like I had more required of me than I was capable of doing. Somehow, with the help of my children and friends, I finished. Now, as I job seek, I am faced with the ups and downs of separating my life from my husband of twenty years and job applications that arent resulting in a job offer. I am very positive and optimistic that very soon, my life will be able to be what I want and seek!! I do not post these posts to pick myself up, as was suggested, but rather as an expression of my outlook on my life...both today and future life! I am happy with my life, thrilled to be able to use my RN license soon to take care of others, looking forward to my life as a solo entity. For their who dont understand why I am not yet working, I believe that the right opportunity will open up, when my life is able to focus on being fabulous! Be patient all!! Dont give up on me! Lol I certainly believe my life is about to be spectacular!! Xoxo
