Had a good service in church this morning. The worship team went acoustic and the worship turned to soaking for me. The Presence of God was indeed there. Saw a large shadow move on the floor around me that could have come from no place else but Heaven. (Just wish the pastor who makes announcements would not interrupt the flow of the Holy Spirit in the room. Nothing he has to say is as important as what God is doing.) Most of the time, I stay in that attitude of worship, remaining in an encounter with God. Often, I miss the announcements, offering and half of the sermon. God is much more interesting! One word from God is worth more than every word a man/woman can say in a million lifetimes. Two weeks ago, as we worshiped, I got caught up to worshiping at the Throne. Like the Elders, I placed my Crown at His feet and sang "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty, Who Was, and Is, and Is To Come". Then, I was invited by Jesus to sit in the chair next to him at the right hand of the Throne of God. (Eph. 2:6) (I only saw one chair next to Him, but sensed that in the Spirit Realm we can all sit together with Him in Heavenly places simultaneously. In the Spirit, all things are possible.) I enjoyed just sitting with Him, gazing into His illuminated face. Neither of us said a word, but His Presence was enough. I saw the elders, the angels and the great cloud of witnesses joining in the worship. I wish that everyone would have Heavenly experiences in worship. Worship engages the spirit of man. We are spiritual beings, living in physical bodies. In worship, I want to return "home", and allow the Heavens to invade my everyday life on earth.
