Had a good time with my family today at the Civil War Battle of Pilot Knob Missouri. The 150th Anniversary of the battle. A chance to let my son, Joseph learn history and see how the soldiers and their families actually lived. How they dressed and what they wore and ate and living conditions during a terrible time during not only the history if our Great Nation but our Great State as well!!!! Thank you to our National Parks Service and The Missouri State Historical Society and to all the men women and children who participated in the three day re-enactment of the battle!! We were told that there was reportedly over 30,000 people who came out to learn our history and to watch the re-enactment.
