Had a good weekend with the 4 dogs----no fights this time and did not have to let them out all night. Someone else came over to tend the outside animals. Took a big bag of dog treats for bribes but just used as rewards.Slept on a sleep number bed with a TV on Fox News! Feasted on all the food Karen left ready for me, roast,spaghetti,salad,even had a BLTA. Picked up guinea feathers, they are so pretty. One adopted dog has cropped ears, one has little floppy ears,one has ears that stick straight up and one has one ear up and one down, it looks like Heda Lamar.Got to see the stray cat that moved into the barn, Karen bought her a toy but only Woody can get near her. I had seen her go in the barn and was afraid it was a fox so went to look but did not see anything. Had to be careful--the gunnies were starting to roost on the rafters and I had already washed my hair once. The goats ignored me since I did not have any carrots! Thomas did win some FFA points so there was no ribbon or plaque to see, the goats were glad to get home. Looks like there will be some more birthed pretty soon----it is always when it is a nasty weather time though.finally turned the heat on when I got home earlier than usual. My roses have bloomed again so will cut some in AM and winterized the plants outside. Karen is going to take some shrubs this fall so will be changing things outside.
