Had a great but different workout today. Last time I did squats I was sore for 7 days. So I decreased the volume, but added a bit more weight. Instead of 4 sets of 10, I did 1 warm up set, and 2 sets of 6. However, I added 10 lbs making my 2 working sets 85 lbs. It blows my mind that 3 years ago I squatted 180 lbs for 3, but my regular workouts were squatting 130-140....That was before the sciatic injury With this new workout, Day 2 will tell. Hydrating, taking traumeel homeopathic muscle remedy, recovery drink with glutamine, carbs and protein immediately after the workout......we will see how my DOMS is in 2-3 days.
