Had a great day of music & much needed fellowship working w/my Best Friend & Brother, Reggie Young @Turner-Up Recording. I wouldnt know where to begin documenting the many things Ive learned from Reg. What I consider to be some of the best advice Ive received in this business has come from him. It is an honor every time I work w/him. He is my Brother in Life! I am Blessed to be a part of several projects in 2014 that are already shaping into my favorite musical events & will remain favored in years to come. One of those being an artist from Quebec that I just got the green light to being able to share the news about. Brigitte Boisjoli is an amazing singer who has classic real soul along w/the power to deliver. She has a project out right now titled, Sans Regret. Where the entire CD is Brilliant, the 12th & final song is one of my favorite performances by any artist in any genre. Along w/an all star band (Chad Cromwell, Pig Robbins, James Mitchell, Dennis Crouch, Carl Marsh, Bruce Watkins & Charlie McCoy), she & I went into Ben Folds Grand Victor Sound Studio (RCA Studio A that my friend, Aubrey Preston just bought) where I had the extreme pleasure to produce 12 classic sides for her record to be released in 2015. I never worked w/a singer any better & few as good as her. What a year so far. Its Exciting just knowing the music is headed your way!
