Had a great day on the river today-- 82 degrees, sunshine and 30 terrific people. The exercise was fabulous, the rapids were running because of the rain-- and I only got caught up in one strainer! My fellow paddler waded into the trees and I held my paddle out to him and was sprung loose. We all seemed to hit that one spot which created a domino effect! Its hard to ever predict the intentions of old man river! Two more weeks am attempting the white water of the Hiawassee-- schedule permitting!
